MAINTENANCE

      TUNING & BRAKES

If your engine seems to be running rough, or skipping, chances are good that it’s time to have your spark plugs replaced. Other symptoms can include rough idling and stalling. Even if your vehicle is equipped with extended-life spark plugs, you should still have them inspected approximately every 30,000 miles and changed roughly every 100,000 miles.

Generally, brake pads need to be replaced after about 50,000 miles. Some need to be replaced after 25,000, while others can last for 70,000 miles. Depending on driving conditions and material the pads are made of. If the brakes look worn out or lose performance, they should be replaced. If there are any unusual noises or sparks coming from the brakes, have them inspected right away.
